Wasa! Where Are You?

What a surprise! While grocery shopping after the beginning of the year I was a little shocked to see the shelf at my store was bare where the Wasa Crisp and Light crackers are located. Did everyone catch on to this tasty treat?!?! With only 20 calories per cracker they are the perfect match with my 35-calorie Laughing Cow cheese wedge. I have been enjoying this in my lunch each day. Walt had to drive to a WINCO near his work to find them and now we buy several boxes at a time.
Sounds like others have made New Year's resolutions to eat healthier!

Easter Art

This year while shopping for Easter basket goodies we were looking for something fun ... not necessarily sugar-laden treats. Since Colin loves arts & crafts we discovered Crayola Washable Window Markers. They are perfect for decorating and drawing on windows, frames and mirrors ... and the colors wash off.
Colin wanted to try them out so he left a cute little message on our patio door. What grandma wouldn't love this great artwork?!?!
I wish we would have had these when our kids were young. I recall one son in his creative toddler years drawing green grass on our white baseboards. Just think of how much he would have enjoyed this instead!
Check out this fun product here.

Great Finds ...

Look ... it's back on the store shelves ... my favorite salad dressing!!! For several years this product has not been available -- at least not at the stores where I shop. It was a great find at Fred Meyer this week. Litehouse ... you have me back as a loyal customer.
Another find I discovered on the Fred Meyer shelves ... Lemon Wafers. They are similar to Vanilla Wafers. Only 130 calories for 7 ... the problem is stopping at 7 : ) I bought them to crush over berries and adding a bit of whipped topping ... my version of a yummy light dessert.
Saturday night we made a stop at Teavana. My tea selection was getting a little slim. I used to buy Mrs. Earl Grey there but for some reason they discontinued my favorite tea. One of the employees suggested adding Tarocco Ruby Orange with regular Earl Grey and I have to say ... this is the best. What a wonderful way to start my day with a delicious cup of tea.
